As a psychologist I've seen so many people struggle with parenting. It doesn't have to be that way.
I’m Dr. Julia Sen, a Registered Clinical and Counselling Psychologist with over 20 years of experience in individual, group, and couples counselling.
I had my children during my PhD, and I parented the best I knew how. But something always felt off to me.
I watched as my children became little “obeyers,” trying to keep us pleased. At first, it seemed great that they were learning to “listen,” but soon after, I noticed their confidence starting to fade.
That was when I decided to change how I parented. I read, studied, and implemented new strategies. I challenged expectations and norms and in time I witnessed incredible changes and growth in my children (and myself) that I never imagined!
Because it took me years to figure this process out on my own, it's my dream to show you how you can do the same in a lot less time while also being part of an incredible like-minded community!
