As South Asian women we were told to keep our heads down. This messaging began when we were children and we were expected to accommodate others, keep family problems a secret, and hide our emotions.
These expectations disconnected us from our authentic selves.
SAWW is a group therapy transformation program for South Asian women who are interested
in reconnecting and integrating the beauty of their inner child to create a life of unconditional confidence and possibility!
Awakening the Wisdom Within™ is eligible for up to 100% coverage by most insurance providers.
$625 CAD total for the program
Billed as $125 per session for 5 sessions

As young South Asian girls, many of us weren't seen for who we really were, but instead as who our family wanted us to be. Through people pleasing, silencing our voices, and overachieving we adapted to feel accepted.
In turn we lost the authentic part of ourselves.
The part that lived life from a place of joy, awe, and wonder. The part that deserved to be seen, soothed, and feel safe in their uniqueness and individuality.
What if I told you it doesn't have to be this way.
When we reconnect with our inner child we help them feel safe and give them a space to belong.

Meet Your Guide
I believe that psychotherapy is based on providing a warm, safe, and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable expressing their emotions and needs.
As a 10th-generation Dr. Sen (and the first woman), you might think I had unconditional confidence in myself. The truth is, I did not. I, like several of my clients, had many moments of self-doubt and anxiety, leading me to play small in many areas of my life.
When my children were 3 and 6 years old, I started to feel exhausted and lost. Until then, I had done all that was “expected” of me. I got married (to an Engineer!), completed my PhD, became a licensed Psychologist, found a niche, and started a practice.
I had my children during my PhD, which included fertility treatments, and I continued to live life living up to other’s expectations. I wasn’t feeling very alive. To be perfectly honest, I was feeling like life was just a thing to get through, even though I had the blessing of a family, friends, and a great career.
As a psychologist I am very privileged and grateful that being curious about relationships, past events, and the self are part of my career. So I spent a great deal of time exploring and understanding patterns and the impacts of those patterns.
Through my curiosity, experience, and love of solving puzzles I expanded my own growth and created various transformation programs to creatively unlock our innate wisdom so we can navigate life with greater ease and flow.
With a special interest in parenting, fertility, and inner child work, I believe anything is possible – that’s why they call me The Possibility Psychologist™.
I am so excited to guide you to awaken the possibility within.

Unfortunately, OHIP doesn’t cover private psychologists, but most insurance companies do.
